Companies and contacts: make changes, then save them

A company page used to open straight into a form — every field live, one Save button at the bottom. Easy to nudge a dropdown by accident on the way to the phone number, and the page never quite told you whether you were reading or editing.

Now it reads like a record. Companies and Contacts open read-only: the details laid out as facts, with a Make changes button under them. Click it and the same fields turn into the form you know; Save changes commits, Cancel puts the record back exactly as it was. The quick-edit strip in the Companies directory's row drawer follows the same rhythm — nothing saves until you say so, and one save carries every field you touched.
