Your documents, in folders — the way you already look for them
If you've spent twenty years finding drawings in a folder tree, we're not going to fight the habit.
Docs — under both the Pursuit and Execution menus — lays out every document in your company the way your file server would: phase, then project, then folders for Drawings, Specs, Contracts, Submittals, and the rest. Click a folder, see the sheets, open one straight into the viewer.
The difference from your file server: nobody files anything. The folders build themselves from each document's tags in the project log — tag a PDF as a drawing when you upload it, and it's already in the right folder for everyone. Rename a project, advance it to execution, and the tree follows. One search box covers every sheet number, title, and revision in the company.
And drag & drop works the way your hands expect: drop files from your desktop straight onto a folder and they upload to that project already tagged as that type. Filed something wrong? Drag it onto the right folder to retag it.
Same documents as each project's Documents tab — just a different door in.
