Drawing snips live on the estimate now

Estimators have always kept clips of the drawings next to their takeoff — the panel schedule, the riser detail, the one plan note that explains why a number is what it is. In a spreadsheet that means snip, save to a file, insert, resize. STrOp's Notes & Backup panel already held the images, but it listed them as filenames, which is a filing cabinet, not a workbook.

Two changes:

• Paste a snip. Clip anything — Win+Shift+S on Windows, or Ctrl+⌘+Shift+4 on a Mac (the Ctrl is what sends it to the clipboard instead of your desktop) — then open Notes & Backup on the estimate and press Ctrl/⌘+V. It uploads as backup on that estimate, timestamped, with no trip through your Downloads folder. A copy that carries text as well as a picture — an Excel range, say — pastes as text the way it always did.
• See them. Images now show as a thumbnail grid above the file list. Click one for full size; arrow keys walk the set, Esc closes. Category, the full-size original, and delete are all on the open image.

Everything else about backup is unchanged — the same category tags, the same drag-and-drop for quote PDFs and takeoff calcs, and the same rule that only your company can open any of it. TIFF scans still list as files rather than thumbnails: they upload fine, but no browser will render one.
