A getting-started checklist that checks itself

Setting up a new org used to mean keeping the sequence in your head — profile, labor rates, crew, invites — and finding out later which one you skipped. Now the app keeps it for you.

Getting started lives at the bottom of the navigation, next to What's New, with a count of what's left. Open it and you get your tracks:

• Set up your shop — company profile, labor rates, crew roster, team invites.
• Win your first job — first pursuit, first estimate, first proposal, and the Award Job click that flips it to execution.
• Your first actions — a short track for your role: a foreman sees timecards and T&M, an estimator sees assemblies and labor rates, finance sees pay apps.

Two things worth knowing about how it behaves:

• Steps check themselves off. There's nothing to mark done — add a worker and the crew step completes, price an estimate and that one goes. Progress is read from what actually exists, so it never disagrees with reality.
• It stays out of your way. Steps that need something first say so instead of sending you into a wall, and the whole checklist dismisses in one click — restore it any time from Help & support.
