Meet STrOp Bot: ask about the job, get the record

"What's outstanding on the Lincoln job?" used to mean four tabs. Now it's one question.

It reads the records. Ask about PCOs, change orders, RFIs, milestones, pay apps, or T&M tickets and the assistant answers from the live record — status, amount, dates, who has the ball — and cites the record so one click opens it. The contract still answers first for its own terms. Documents, your SOPs, and the Knowledge Base fill in the language around the numbers.

It knows who's asking. A foreman gets the field and schedule picture and nothing from billing. Finance gets billing and changes. Whatever your role can reach in the app is what the assistant will read for you, including any restriction your admin set. When a question touches records outside your role, it says so rather than guessing.

It keeps the thread. Ask a follow-up — "and the LDs?" — and it knows what you meant. Close the drawer, come back, and the conversation is still there. It lives only in your browser; nothing you ask is saved.

Name the job. From the pipeline or anywhere org-wide, "retainage on Aroha" scopes itself to that project.

Press ⌘J (Ctrl+J on Windows) or the Ask icon in the header. Requires the AI processing opt-in (Settings → Organization), as before.
