T&M tickets and today's plan work with no signal

Extra work doesn't wait for a signal, and the GC doesn't wait around while you look for one. Starting today, the T&M side of the timecard works offline the same way the hours do.

What changes for a foreman:

  • Open a T&M ticket anywhere. Mark a worker's hours as T&M, pick + New T&M ticket, give it a title. With no signal, the ticket is saved on the phone marked New, and you can tag hours to it right away. It gets its number (TM-0NN) when it syncs.
  • Log materials, equipment and subs on the ticket. Each open ticket on the job is listed under T&M tickets on this job. Tap one to add what was used: quantity, unit and cost, with a running total. Online it saves straight away; offline it queues with everything else.
  • It all lands in order. When the connection comes back, the ticket goes up first, then its lines, then the timecard that tags hours to it. Nothing arrives pointing at a ticket the office can't see yet.
  • Today's plan in your pocket. On site today at the top of the timecard shows the job's work orders for the day, who's on each one, the materials and whether they're staged, and the site contact with a tap-to-call number. It's kept from the last time you had signal, and shows how old it is.

Same rules as online. A ticket the GC has signed still can't take new lines, offline or not; if one gets signed while you're dark, the sync tells you so and keeps what you entered. Getting the GC's signature still needs a connection.
