Every bid opens with its checklist

The contract side has had its post-award checklist since September. Now the bid side has one too.

What's on it. Go/no-go decision, pre-bid walk, RFIs in before cutoff, addenda acknowledged, supplier and sub quotes in, bid bond, bid form signed, and bid submitted. On a public-works bid, a DIR registration check joins the list.

Dated from the bid. Each step is due a set number of days ahead of the bid date — the go/no-go two weeks out, the RFI cutoff a week out, the bid form the day before. No bid date yet? The steps land undated; set one and hit Refresh from bid to date them.

Worked where you already look. The card sits under Blocking the bid on the pursuit's Overview, and every open step shows in that list too. Assign it, mark it in progress or complete, attach the document, or waive one the bid doesn't call for (no bid bond on a private job). Add your own one-off steps right on the card.
