An updated Privacy Policy
We've published an updated Privacy Policy, effective September 1, 2026. Nothing about how we treat your data got looser — this update makes the policy say, precisely, what we already do.
What's different:
- Every service provider is named. The policy now lists each company that touches data on our behalf, what its one job is, and what it can see. No more "and others."
- Deletion and backups, stated exactly. Full self-serve export any time, real deletion with a grace period, and encrypted daily database backups on a rolling ~7-day retention — deleted data ages out of backups within that window.
- AI with boundaries, in writing. What gets sent to our AI providers, what never does (Social Security numbers), and a no-training commitment covering both providers we use.
- Worker information. Certified-payroll data is processed on your behalf and under your instructions, with California's full CPRA protections for employee data spelled out.
- How pricing works. Your price comes from the construction volume you declare — we do not inspect your project data to set or verify your bill.
The updated policy is live now and takes effect September 1. Questions? [email protected].
