Proposals: revisions carry forward, and the printed quote grew up
Revising an estimate no longer resets the proposal to a blank page. The new revision carries everything forward — GC and contact, scope narrative, plans date, output format, the prepared-by block, your qualification list, and which lines you'd hidden from the printed doc. Vendor quotes and backup documents follow the working revision too. Dates reset to today; nothing else does.
The printed quote also got a cleanup pass:
- Control number under the title — job number plus revision, like
24-1042-R2— so a GC can reference the exact quote you're both looking at. - DIR registration prints beside your CSLB number, and your office phone joins the letterhead. Both pull from Settings → Organization Identity — fill them in once.
- Your company name now appears once, in the letterhead. It was showing up three-plus times per page.
One more fix while we were in there: checking or unchecking Auto-add on a qualification in the library now actually sticks. The starter clauses are copies your company owns — edit them, retag them, delete the ones you never use.
