Submittals chase themselves, and procurement joins the ledger
The submittal log's whole job is knowing what hasn't come back — so now it tells you. A Due Back date that passes with nothing returned turns red, and an overdue count appears at the top of the log. Click it to see only the items worth a phone call.
Transmittals got two fixes in the same visit: the tab count updates the moment you add one, and item selections save themselves as you check boxes — the old Save Selection button was too easy to forget, and collapsing the transmittal quietly threw your picks away.
The company-wide Procurement list now wears the same ledger dress as Companies and Contacts: sortable column headers (the sort survives a refresh), the density toggle, and rows you can click anywhere to open the PO. Grouping by project, vendor, or status works like before.
A round of guardrails, because one stray click shouldn't cost you a record:
- Deleting a submittal item, buyout line, or catalog product now asks first — same two-step confirm the rest of the app uses.
- Revising or voiding a PO happens inline in the page instead of a browser popup; the revise reason gets a real text box.
- Logging a shipment with no quantities is no longer possible — the Save button waits until at least one line has a count.
- Closing the product editor mid-edit warns you before discarding changes, and products saved from the submittal log keep their names instead of retitling themselves "New Product."
Smaller thing you'll notice if you looked for it: the file-attachment panel on a short submittal log no longer gets clipped by the table edge.
