The PDF you sent is one click away

Since last week, submitting a pay application or a PCO has quietly kept the exact PDF that went out, attached to the record. Nothing showed it to you yet. Now something does.

Submitted pay applications have a Sent PDF button in the toolbar, next to Preview. Preview renders the page as it reads right now. Sent PDF opens the file we stored when you hit Submit. On an application that hasn't changed since, they're the same document. On one the GC has since marked revised, they aren't, and Sent PDF is the one that answers "what did we actually send them."

Submitted PCOs have the same button on the change log, next to Print.

A few notes:

  • It only appears when there's a file. Applications and PCOs submitted before the change have nothing stored, so the button isn't there. Going forward, every submit keeps its PDF.
  • It opens in a new tab. The link is good for an hour. Open it again from the record any time.
  • If a waiver or sign-off is later signed through the workspace, the signed version replaces the stored file, so Sent PDF always opens the current authoritative copy.
